Taylor Thursday – June and July flew by and we’re wondering what happened to summer. I think with the longer days we pack in so much more. I often feel that instead of relaxing I’m trying to recharge from a busy and full summer schedule. So we’re pushing the “pause button” and taking time to relax. A few photos of what summer should be all about…quality family time out in the sun!
Peach and Arugula Salad with goat cheese and pine nuts tossed in a light red wine vinaigrette. It’s a simple dish that is perfect for summer.
Easy recipe for Mango Iced Tea. It’s a refreshing drink to enjoy during the summer and great to serve at showers and parties.
Taylor Thursday and a recipe for an easy and delicious Fuji Apple Bread. I subsitute part of the oil with apple sauce to yield a lower fat bread that is perfect for breakfast, brunch or a quick snack. Serve warm out of the oven or toasted with a light smear of butter.
