I am always looking for new ways to dress my salad to keep it fresh and interesting. I came up with this soy sauce vinaigrette to give my salad an Asian flare. The dressing is savory, tangy and so easy to make. It’s great with tofu since it is the perfect ingredient to soak up all of the dressing’s flavor. Hope you enjoy my Asian inspired vinaigrette!
Soy Sauce Vinaigrette
Ingredients:
1 Tbs finely chopped onion
¼ C canola oil
½ Tbs sesame oil
2 Tbs low sodium soy sauce
1 tsp sugar
2 Tbs rice vinegar
Black pepper to taste
Directions:
Place all ingredients into a measuring cup or bowl and whisk to combine all ingredients. Let it hang out in the fridge until you are ready to dress your favorite greens and toppings. Make sure to give it a good whisk before dressing your salad. (I used hearts of romaine, Persian cucumbers, tofu (medium firm), and a sprinkle of toasted sesame seeds.)
Enjoy!
