FAQ

Q:  Do you take all of your own pictures?

A:  Yes, unless noted otherwise, we take all of our pictures with a Canon Rebel Xsi.

Q:  Can I link you?

A: Yes, of course you can!

Q:  Are you professionally trained?

A:  No, neither one of us are professionally trained as a chef, baker or photographer.  Quyen is a regular girl who loves to cook, bake & take pictures.  Derrick loves to grill and cook savory dishes.  We learn by feeding our family and friends tons of food and listening to their feed back.   Cooking and entertaining runs in Quyen’s family.  Her grandmother worked in a restaurant in Colorado for years and catered on the side and her uncle recently graduated from Le Cordon Bleu.  Her aunts love cooking and hosting elaborate dinner parties.  Food is a big part of our family and many wonderful memories have been shared around the dinner table.

Q:  Can I use your photography or content on my website?

A:  Text and Photography © Copyright 2009-2014 Kitchen Runway, unless otherwise stated. All rights reserved.

Please ask first. We spend a lot of time taking photos, writing and editing.  A photo with credit and link to my site is usually acceptable if you are referencing Kitchen Runway. If you would like to use any of our content, please ask first.  There’s no harm in asking – We spend a lot of time working on content so please don’t steal it.  Thanks!

Hi Quyen & Derrick, I found your site by googling images for lemon bars. I’m the church secretary at RPF in Fairfield, CA and would truly appreciate permission to use some of your pictures for our simple Coffee Break Sign up sheets. I would like to use the Meyer Lemon Bars for January’s list 🙂 I know our congregants will be mesmerized! Please let me know if its ok.

Totally love your site and will Facebook you when I’m off work. Encouraged to try your recipes too!
    Thank you,
    Jane
