creamed corn

Creamed corn is one of our favorite ways to enjoy corn year round. This steak house style creamed corn is an easy side that is delicious and perfect with a juicy steak. We keep frozen corn on hand at all times and when I have left over heavy cream…you can count on me making this side. It’s creamy with a hint of sweetness. It’s definitely not like canned cream style corn…give it a try the next time you are in need of a quick and simple side. You won’t be disappointed.  Besides, how can you go wrong with sweet corn, heavy cream and a touch of butter?

This serves 4, but Derrick and I have been known to polish this dish off between the two of us! Opps, did I just share that publicly?

That looks amazing! I’ve never made my own creamed corn – and there is no doubt me and my husband could polish that bowl off too!

Thanks Average Betty!! It’s so easy to eat the whole thing….it’s one of those things I should only make when there’s company…. ;)
